Asymmetrical heavy textured moulded crystal bowl designed by Kjell Engman for Kosta Boda in Sweden in the late 1970’s or early 1980’s. This lovely pattern designed by Kjell Engman features four different couples or one couple featured in four different scenes dancing underneath trees. It may be a wedding celebration. It is a heavy clear glass bowl with a highly textured low relief design repeated four times around the bowl. The bowl sides are not flared but straight: a particularly attractive feature. Nice example of modernist Scandinavian style design. Nice size for fruits or as an ice bucket. See also B018.
Any bubbles or striations in the glass are part of the glass making process.
Dimensions:
Approx. 5 5/8 inches in the tallest part; 7 3/8 inches across at the top
État/Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. Seam lines, bubbles and striations are part of the glass making process.
